Position Summary

The Regional Manager is responsible for all branch operations within his region. He/she supervises all staff within his/her region with Branch Managers reporting into him. S/She shall oversee all field operation activities within his region including setting up of the branches, meeting the business plan targets, be responsible for growth and management of the loan portfolio; s/he will establish operations; and ensure portfolio quality and growth for long-term sustainability and profitability of the institution and acting as KIM’s representative at the Regional level. He/she is responsible to ensure overall Regional performance and profitability and reports to the Operations Manager

Educational LevelPost graduate Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Islamic finance
Professional qualificationsDegree in Administration or other post graduate (project) management coursePost graduate degree in business related field
Length of relevant experience3-5 years in microfinance6 years in microfinance development
 development and 2 years as credit programme supervisorand 4 years in credit programme administration

 Special Requirements

  • Annual leave must be taken at a time which accommodates the peak workflows of KIMS.
  • As KIMS Microfinance offices are located over several cities, staff may be required to travel to, or work from, other cities as required.
