Job Description:

Mandatory to have a detailedknowledge of Electrical Engineering, or related power/Electrical fields as well as the basic knowledge of Installation and maintaining electricalequipment.

Responsibilities include: Electrical engineering design, commissioning of electrical / automation systems and utility equipment to the highest industrial and organizational standards. The focus of the work will be to ensure that processes operate efficiently and safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Education and Experience:

Candidate should holdminimally a bachelor’s degree in Power engineering, Control System or related Power/Electrical fields.In addition, he should have a minimum of2to 4 years of Experience.

Responsibility

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment.
  • Generate technical reports proposing solutions to existing problems or reviewing alternative design schemes for new process equipment/systems.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards,
    defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • To ensure the equipment is constructed or adapted to be suitable for the purpose it is used or provided for.
  • Install solar modules, panels, or support structures
  • Check electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of
  • Specifying and reviewing equipment specification and installations ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (Low Voltage regulations).
  • Perform other duties as may be deemed appropriate by Line Manager and that fall within the general remit of the post.
  • Install, provision and deploy all power solutions across the Enterprise
  • Performs general preventive maintenance/operational routines and housekeeping for all power systems.
  • Helps in the coordination with Network groups for the resolution of power faults.
  • Provide technical support for power systems to other Network engineers
  • Develop high level electrical cabling diagrams and designs to facilitate power network architecture.
  • Maintain remote site E-power systems
  • Install, manage and Maintain all generator equipment across all sites.
  • Maintain power inventory, spare-parts and as build records.
  • Provide OHS training & Preventive Maintenance training for E-power staff.
  • Estimates labor, material, construction, and equipment costs.
  • Inspects completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Observes operation of installation for conformance with operational standards.
  • Ensure remote sites are properly maintained and kept
  • Design solutions to ensure minimal power consumption.
  • Install, provision and deploy all power solutions across the Enterprise
