Human Development Concern (HDC) was established in 2005 as a local humanitarian organization dedicated to providing interventions through humanitarian and development initiatives in Somalia.
Nurses (6 Position)
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and assessment, which includes measuring patient health and wellness, both through direct observation and by conducting medical tests and evaluations;
- Cold chain management of the vaccines;
- Provide patient care at the facilities;
- Educate patients and the general public on disease management, special diet plans and medical conditions;
- Collecting patient information, evaluation, and administer treatments;
- Inquire medical conditions , symptoms ,medication history to provide the current medical needs;
- Conduct preliminary tests on the patients;
- Follow up with patients to determine the conditions and patients recovery process;
- Participate in community outreach and provide consultations to community members;
- Ensure patients records are accurate and up to date;
- Assist the patients in making referrals to the facilities;
- Education
· Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or another technical relevant discipline
· Registered with relevant institutions is an added advantage
- Experience:
· 2 – 3 years of working experience
· Have worked in hard to reach areas;
· Experience working in the community;
