The World Food Programme Somalia activities include food assistance for relief, emergency school feeding, nutrition and food assistance for assets creation through provision of in-kind and cash-based transfers.
This position is open to qualified Somali candidates. Female candidates in particular, are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience: Three or more years of responsible business support experience of which at least two years must be in programme implementation of development, food and humanitarian assistance operations.
Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Somali is a requirement.
Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel. Knowledge of work routines and methods to complete processes under minimal supervision; Uses tact and courtesy to give and receive information to a wide range of individuals; Ability to identify data discrepancies and rectify problems requiring attention.
