Who we are looking for?
Our company is searching for a motivated and experienced business development manager at HQ.
To qualify for the role, the ideal candidate will have proven commercial experience preferably in the telecommunication industry, with excellent knowledge of the latest industry trends and techniques. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), you will also demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
We need an innovative and energetic person with fresh ideas of new business opportunities to fulfil the following:
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Setting targets for new business development for the business development managers and executives.
- Implementing new business initiatives across the new business and sales teams.
- Working closely with members of the team to generate new business.
- Identifying sales opportunities as a result of market changesand suggest changes where appropriate.
- Setting up meetings with prospective customers to sell the company’s products and services.
- Implementing sales incentives schemes to drive sales performance within the team.
- Acting as a key contact for large customer accounts.
- Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing
- Setting tough but achievable revenue targets for the business development managers.
- Negotiating sales contracts with customers and ensuring their profitability.
- Working with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business teams.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery.
- Devising strategies for driving sales growth across the business.
- Analysing existing approaches to the development of international business.
Requirements (Person Specifications):
- Bachelor’s Degrees of Commerce or Business Administration.
- 5 years of proven practical experience in Commerce, preferably in Telecom Industry.
- Human Resources, Leadership and Supervisory Skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
